Hi Marie

thank you! Well, I am working on it now and the date for the call is April 12th at 5pm PST. Details to follow. I agree and I think it's time to focus on pleasure. (without using it as an excuse to indulge or abuse food and alcohol)

JJ,
I love that idea about beta testing the wine, cheese and chocolate diet. I hope I can be a part of that group. I think the biggest issue with the way America thinks about dieting is that you have to starve yourself and exercise so hard to lose weight, but if you indulge once or "cheat" on your diet, it sets you back. People tend to berate themselves over one "cheat" and sometimes give up. Allowing yourself to indulge once in a while is a healthier approach. I am not a trained nutritionist, but it is something that I am learning about within myself. You have to love yourself no matter what, and not give up.

My two cents worth!!

Thanks for a great program.

You're so funny Molly! I'd love you to be in the beta test group. Why haven't you done the 6 Week Beach Body? The component of hypnosis is great for changing your MIND. Doing a detox is great but if it doesn't help shift your relationship to food, there is mind work to be done. The Wine, Cheese and Chocolate Diet will be more about decadence and pleasure for sure but I am still trying to figure out how to balance the eating and drinking (ha!) with the mindset and exercise. What would you expect as an outcome? And would you be happy with 10 pounds? How long do you think the course should be? I am in design stage so I could use some feedback!

Hi JJ,
It's a fabulous idea! One of the complaints I have about doing the detox are that I feel great when it's done, but then I eat (cheese) and drink wine, and poof, the weight returns. Also, I spent a full year working out with a trainer, but didn't really lose that much weight. Now, I've moved back to Ohio where I have a position I really LOVE, following my passion to change how we feed our kids and change how we educate them. It's truly transforming how kids learn about sustainable agriculture and making wise food choices; we are helping kids combat obesity and get healthy without them even realizing it...but when it comes to my own weight/health/wellness goals, I feel uninspired and, well, fluffy. Now that it's the dead of winter, it's very challenging for me to do any kind of workout that's not cost prohibitive. I am getting more into gluten-free foods and even bought the most awesome gluten & sugar-free cookbook called Babycakes by Erin McKenna...but still I need some help. If I lost 25 pounds or so, I would be at an optimal weight for me, and I know my energy and stamina would greatly improve; I'm tired of being tired and feeling fluffy. I want more pleasure...beta-test me, please, baby! : )
xxoo, Molly
